TECHSHOW 2023 - Connecting High-Tech Solutions to Businesses

On May 11, at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, an event connecting domestic technology solution developers with investment funds and businesses took place. Many technology solutions attracted business interest because they "touched" the thorny problems businesses face in production.

Opening the event, Mr. Nguyễn Đức Long, Director of the High-Tech Incubation and Training Center (Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park) said the technology connection event aims to create a playground for the science and technology community to connect with investors and businesses, creating opportunities for cooperation and product commercialization. The High-Tech Incubation and Training Center has successfully organized many technology connection sessions by topic, and this time it focused on information technology for developing bioinformatics, robotics, security, and 3D printing applications.

The technology solution that drew much attention was the TrueOrigin™ origin authentication solution of Onyx Vietnam Joint Stock Company for developing anti-counterfeit labels.

At the connection session, some cosmetics and pharmaceutical businesses said they worry about bringing products to market because anti-counterfeit labels get counterfeited — even labels using QR codes are easily faked. The developer of TrueOrigin™ said this is the first solution globally to achieve absolute anti-counterfeiting with an ordinary phone app, thanks to the new iSeal™ authentication technology with a dynamic digital signature that changes and is stored back after each interaction with the label; the authentication system verifies this dynamic digital signature and detects any counterfeiting.
